Manually tuning radio

How do i manually tune the radio? I know there is a Manual Tuner setting, but it keeps trying to find the nearest station. Ive looked in the instruction book and it says that you need to be in expert menu for this to work?? i just want to tune the radio into a personal frequency. Help Please!!

You change the mode its in, one mode is search by rds, one is auto search and the other should be manual search, I have long since changed the standard stereo so cannot remember which button it is, you can change the search mode from the steering wheel remote tho!

Yeah, Ive seen and tried that, but it still goes off and searches for the nearest radio station.

I think you press the tuner button a few times to go through the different search modes

Sussed it out. You need to hold the SRC button down for 5 secs to get into the Expert Mode and change all settings.

ok I got a dunce question is it actually possible to get the length of a track up when listening to a cd??

ps radio manual says nothing about changing display for cd.

I think if you hold the forward/reverse button on the set itself it shows a bit more info?
