MAP sensor O-rings

Hello.

Does anyone know where to get the two o-rings from for the map sensor, or failing that, the dimensions so I can get some? Thanks

Mine has quite a few chunks taken out of both of them.

Wrap it in plumbers tape.

Not a bad shout. Ideally I want to replace it properly though mate.

Ah ok. Well I'm not sure where you can get the orings from mate.

Mine was always "loose" so i wrapped it on tape and now its nice and tight

Even your local halfrauds stock o rings, or see your local fastners place they often stock o rings

Hi mate,

Yeah I did in fact you know those green o rings I was telling you about the other day? In that box from eBay, I used two from that and they've lasted me this long.

I think it's a 7mm OD ring... come to Notts and i'll give you one!

Would a 7mm o ring work on a Haas sensor? Bit the bullet and bought new from ECP and it's too loose. Plumber's tape is on standby too!

Still held in place with plumber's tape lol. Seems ok though!

I should have this style of sensor coming tomorrow from a breakers, glad to know it will work as it's different to the one I removed

Mine was off a Sport and it's been fitted over 2 years without hiccup... yet !
