is it as simple as dremeling level to the gasket?

In theory yes, but they all need to be matched to smooth the air flow.

yep but the way i did it is once i had the mani off, i made a template out of the head then used the bolts to secure it in place to the mani, then you just dremmel it till its aligned, true as ben says, its not going to be as good as professional, but then the main reason why the service is availible is because the inlets are so s**t anyway, so taking out 85-90% of the waste with a dremmel is the easy but, getting it 100% is left to the pros, i did a gude on here somewhere i can find it if you want.

i did it myself too, used the gasket to see how much i can take away

do the same with the lower part under it (don´t know the name)
