matt black alloys cleaning advice

  MK3 GTI golf 16v
well cleaning them isnt an issue, but are they ok to wax or will it look odd? after detailing the car it looks amazing for ages, but because i never put any product on the wheels they get dirty instantly and let the car down, what products can i use? any advice would be lovely, cheers

You technically can wax it, so no problems there. Thing is that you don't want to add "gloss" to a "matt" finish, and most waxes do that.

I think that a product like Poorboys Wheel Sealant will add a little gloss, perhaps Autoglym Alloy Wheel Seal (a spray) doesn't? I haven't tried it myself tho, maybe best to look for some reviews on it :)

As above. There are specific matt black waxes, but for wheels this isn't really necessary. Poorboys wheel seal will do you just fine.
