Maybe minor problems

just bought a clio 172 (2002) model for my girlfriend who just past her test last month, I've had it a week and she reckons it has been struggling to start this morning, she has it parked on a slight incline on the drive , she says something about it says oil on the little screen on the dash.. I jumped in and started straight away for me . My question is do these clios tell them selves look you have no oil don't start me or u will f**k the engine ? Could be a faulty sensor?

Sometimes it may flash up where mileage is then have a series of dots, this will appear when oil is low- not as extereme as oil light coming on when u have to stop, but I'd check oil levels if they're low then there's ur answer- else wise could be a faulty sensor

Ok, got it booked into garage tomoz, I think the radiator coolant is draining abit aswell and with the oil leak plus exhaust is a little smoky ,hope it's not a big job
