Spotted you on the outside lane of the M6 earlier on. We were sat in that car park of traffic heading southbound. Around Charnock Richard, I think?

They had literally just sorted it all out when we got there. The new section of reservation was in place, but a few Highway Agency Transits were mulling about on the hard shoulder.

Must have been a big impact.

Yeah they had literally wiped out a section of the central reservation! Looked pretty bad, loads of cop cars racing down the hard shoulder of the south side! The traffic was tailed back about 10 miles on M6 south when I went past. But that was at 7am!

I also spent most of my morning in that queue.... pain in the arse

I think I just missed it by about 5 minutes because when I got to junction 28, 2 police cars were heading in the opposite direction probably going to the accident.
