megane cambelt

thinking of buying a 2.0 megane coupe, spoke to few people but no one knows when the cam belt should be changed?
can anyone help?

To err on the side of safety about 35000 miles, handbook says about 70k odd..

its normally 70k, unless its got plastic tensioners

yep it's 4 years or 72k! be carefull who you get to change it as they have free floating pulleys, and need to be locked from the gearbox side of the engine,
