Meguiars (My Thoughts)

After halford were having a 3 for 2 on all cleaning, I thought I'd buy some stuff, I hadn't cleaned my recaros since I bought them, so I bought some meguiars gold class rich leather cleaner and conditioner gel, well after puttung onto a mirofire cloth, rubing it in and then using other cloth to wipe clean, It look darker and better, but went back later to find it had just faded and didn't look any different??? and I notice white finger marks on the back of the recaros on the plactic, which I think is from this stuff, all in all not worth the money, can any one recomed anything better that is safer to use and doesn't leave white marks? or if I'm doing anything wrong, plus can any one help with getting the white finger prints of the plastic?

Does it leave white finger prints on plastics? Is it easy to use?

use ag fast glass to get white polish marks out of plastic...

I also bought some of there wheel cleaner, well that had turned my drive way white were the wheels where

Not sure the Megs product wld leave white finger marks. I've seen marks like this on leather/plastics and put it down to hand cream or especially sun cream.

As for cleaning the marks off, my personal fav's are either poorboys natural look dressing for vinyl & cheaper plastics, or for the more modern soft matt plastics I find Einzett Cockpit Premium hard to beat.

For leather I have had great results with the Autoglym Leather Cleaner, followed with the Leather cream.

Anyway a great product for what you need to "mask" the white marks is AG Tar remover.

ive used the meggs leather kit , had no issue with it on my 172 ff, use the blue gell to clean ru nning it in , go over with another cloth make sure no residue then rub the white conditioner in ,

even use it on a leather office chair
