Metal polish and exhaust

Would a bit of metal polish be ok to brink up a second hand stainless exhaust? (ie more shiney). Also i have a second hand scorpion and the back box when you roll there is a little bit of something loose inside (sounds like a very small stone would). Is this normal / expected /will it function ok? Its not a major rattle atall.

Metal polish like autoglym does is fine. I would even use spray stuff you can get for stainless steel sinks, hobs etc first as that can be sprayed on and wiped off after a while.

Use metal polish after.

as for polish try autosol, best stuff ive ever found. and with rattle make sure its not the baffell come loose or itll only get worse.

I use Brasso.

Worked a treat on my old Valvers stainless tailpipe, but my standard Williams tailpipe is rusting up very quickly

i used a chrome cleaner from symez of soemthing like that very ood and is ace on alloy wheels too..

Use Autosol I always have on other motors and found it the best! Your rattling could even be whats left of the last owners cat, as I blew one on an old tomcat coupe and all the boxes sonded like salt shakers, but it turned out that they where fine, just needed some tipping up!

Try T Cut. It works a treat although Im not sure how good it is on really coked up exhausts.
