Fit a turbo, mid range is really not the 1*2 engines strong point it needs to be worked.

You'll never find a small NA that's got mid-range power.

20-30lb isnt really much though for 3k(and no im not starting a argument about itbs being waste of money) i would say your car would pick up better without weight so strip it

what you mean by matched inlets? where can you buy them?

the portings on your inletmanifold are worked on/cnc machined. Matching them to the inlet ports+ to eachother as there are two manifolds bolted together , upper and lower ; in short.

When also getting a remap (such as the RS tuner by Fastchip.nl , nice product) to suit your mods it will give the best results..

ur torque is still low at 3k-5k.

When you get the "Pro" version (little bot more $ , not much) , you'll be able to list the mods, even make a recording/mapping of how the car is now and Henk will send you the map made up of the results of your recording which you send him.. Lot of satisfied CS drivers already got this

I'd never noticed how lacking in torque the 172/182 were untill i drove my vectra which has roughly 320ft lb its amazing how much it helps while pulling out of corners and overtaking. I'm going to look into the low compression turbo conversion for the clio when its released as torque figures are said to be bumped up to 200ft lb. i'm not bothered about top end figures as i feel the clio is quick enough as it is.

I made 175lbft at RS Tunings RR'd with Piper Cams and the usual bolt on goodies.

Looking around, this is about the same torque figure as folk pushing 230 bhp on TB's !! (i only made 186 bhp)

Not sure matey. I think the headwork has certainly helped a lot but i think its more to do with the whole combination of mods seem to work together well with this engine.
