min. space behind woofer magnet

Ive read you only need at leat 1" behind the magnet of your woofer for a sealed enclosure.

can any one confirm ths, my 10" has a mounting depth of 4.9" and want to build my box with an internal depth of 6", will it be OK ?

well, it depends on the xmax of the sub, about 1 " + the xmax is what i usually hear.

an inch is safe to do.

well, according to the specs, the xmax is 0.1" and the sub debth is 4.9" and the box depth is 6", so in theory accoding to the above should be ok.
