Minecraft FPS problem.......

  Not a 320d
So I recently upgraded my GPU to a 680.

I average about 500fps in Minecraft, but after playing for a minute or so, this will drop to about 7fps, then lower, then I must be on about 1 frame per 2 second interval. itll do this every time. Ive tried running in compatability mode, re installing the game, allsorts of things.

Temperature is fine.

I have 64bit Java.

Specs -

i5 750 4GHz, 8GB ram, GTX 680.

No other game has a problem. Just minecraft. Any ideas?

Reinstall Java? If the fps are dropping after a few minutes I would suspect that its Java.

Btw, good use of the GTX 680 :p

I know right?! First game I played with it lol.

Was already getting 300fps on the 5870.

I have a feeling ti something to do with minecraft being 32 bit version. So ill try get 64 bit.

You tried increasing the amount of RAM Minecraft/Java is allowed access too? Can't remember how you do it but its in Java settings in your CP (Google will let you know). Mine drops FPS like a c**t when someone messages me on Steam and it's flashing. Crock of s**t.
