Mini HD cams any good???

Which is best for money?
Any good as trackday cam???
Just want something i can carry in pocket & not worry about.

No idea on those two but I've got a GoPro HD hero and it's easily small enough to throw in your pocket. 1080p etc. Not cheap though.

I got a Kodak Zi8 just before xmas, and im my opinion is very good, best low light out of the flips, replaceable battery, expandable storage and external mic if needed, plus almost half the price on Amazon of the equivalent Flip

I use the Kodak zi8 as an in-car cam. Video quality is fantastic at 720p, sound is spot on too, even without an external mic. In the '5' you'd want an external mic put in somewhere out of the wind, or you'd just hear rushing air, but that'd be the case on any camera.

GoPro HD for super awesome wideness and mounting it wherever you want on or outside the car but the Kodak looks good for a fraction of the price.

I have got the flip ultra hd 8gb which santa got for me. Haven't used it much but it is very simple to use and has great pic quauity, the built in usb port is handy for connecting to pc as well as the mini hdmi port for connecting to my hd tv.
