Minimum ET with 15" wheels

I'm sure this has been answered before, but my searching skills seem poor today.

Currently running the standards 16" wheels on my 182, and as i want to replace the crappy tyres that are on it, i'm thinking about switching to some 15" wheels at the same time. Cheaper tyres making up some of the differance in purchasing the wheels.

So i'm eyeing up some Pro Race 1.2 in satin graphite, but would like to get the minimum offset possible to avoid needing to have spacers if possible.
Would 25mm ET fit?

I'm pretty confident the fronts will be fine, but i'm not sure about the rears. Whats the minimum i can get away with without having issues with rubbing or needing to run crazy camber?

It's only on sportline springs with cup dampers at the minute, But once any of that needs replacing i'll probably end up getting BC coilovers from Diamond Motors fitted. I wouldn't want to limit options in the future to be honest.
I know ET35 will fit on the rear as i had 16inch 1.2's on my last clio with that offset, can't remember if there was much more room at the rear, but i do remember the fronts looking like they could do with being pushed out more. Just didn't like the idea of using 10mm spacers on the front.

I had et35 with 10mm spacers on the front and didn't have any issues and that was lower than lowering springs.

If your going low when you get your coilovers id say stick to et35 or higher

Youl have issues with the 25 on the back

I wouldn't be going low, the coilover would be for performance over looks. I've emailed demon tweeks to see if they can supply 2 ET25 and 2 ET35.

If you have no luck with demon tweeks call rims rock they will sort you out and be a lot cheaper than DT

The 182 race championship uses ET40 Pro Race 1.2s. I have the same on my 172 and they're fine in all respects. Must buy some more.

I run 15" ET25 on the rear with no spacers and this is what it looks like

That's on Bilsteins with the adjusters removed so it's pretty low.

And this is with ET40 with 10mm rear spacers

I get no scrubbing, only when going a bit too fast over speed bumps.

What size tyres? I had rubbing when running et35 with 450lb Spring rate aswell

Dont forget its width that also effects where the offset makes them sit. a 6 inch wide rim with 30mm offset will sit in the same position (in relation to the outer face) as a 7 inch rim with 42mm offset, but the same 7 inch rim will be 25mm further towards inner arches/springs.

Heres mine (7 x15 with ET35), lowered with all round GAZ coilovers, as far as possible so standard 16s dont catch. (use the 15s for track). The fronts catch on inner arches when car is pushed on track, but hardly at all when not on limits. So this wouldnt matter what offset as its just the lowering that affects where they catch.
