Misfire help...

  182FF
In the last year I've fitted Magnecor leads, genuine plugs and replaced the coil pack. I've also had the belts changed, updated cams and a map by Dan at 519. The car has now gone from the occasional flash of the management light to an aggressive misfire. I took it to my local 'Renault specialist' and this is what I got: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1377105504.842147.jpg

I'm fully prepared to replace all of the injectors if needs be which I thought would be the problem...

Anyone got any ideas?

Sam

P.s I'm completely backwards when it comes mechanics /:

Standard spark plugs cannot cope? WtF have you done to it?

If I had to guess I'd say the Magnecors are guilty

  DON'T SEND ME PM'S!!
the standard plugs can cope perfectly well, it's only had a set of cams LOL. I'd second Micks guess at a plug lead being at fault.
It may still be an injector, but some more detailed diagnostics needed. If they're scared to remove the inlet manifold, don't let them work on it again.

As soon as they said they needed me to pay 2hours labour to try and identify the fault... I ran.... Then the comment about the spark plugs :S

I had a misfire before I replaced the leads.... £280 for a set of injectors
From Ktec...
Is that cheap?

Thanks very much for the replies so far btw.

Euro Car Parts and GSF are cheaper for injectors but personally I wouldn't be spending any money like that without a definitive diagnosis.

Not sure who to take it too in the southeast. A quick search says Matt at code red, would be have the tools to diagnose it?

Swapped coil packs with a mate today, car was ok for about 5-6 miles then the same thing. It seems to be worse bellow 4k revs. If I sit at 85-90 on the motorway then I don't have any problems. If it was the lamba sensor connected to the cat or if the cat itself has failed would swapping it out for a decat help to rule that scenario out?

Yeah took it to my local garage and he couldn't get the lamba out of the cat, used a special tool heated it up etc. Car is going to code red Motorsport on Wednesday hopefully! They are the closest specialist to me, gutted because I was really enjoying the car! Typical!
