misfire! poss sensor???

I have a misfire on my 172 but as the car gets warmer it drives better and misfire's a lot less!!
are there any sensors that could be causing this??
anybody experienced anything similar before?

Get your fault codes read, don't guess

there are no fault codes! engine light hasn't come on during the misfire

yeah,sorry about that.

any ideas then people?? i've got a new coil pack on the way,then i'l prob try the lambda sensor?? but was wondering if there's a cold start sensor or similar that may be playing up??
