misfire + temp gauge stopped

Just noticed my temp gauge stop workinp So i put my obd fault finder on and it had a misfire fault code. Very unlikely these 2 are linked? So guess i need to order a temp sensor along with a new coilpack and ht leads. Am i right? I put a new temp sensor in about 1 month ago so i guess its faulty.

Av been told my misfires down to fuel injector so don't rule that one out.

Changed my plugs around 2k miles ago and 1 of them is burning when i checked them .
