misfire :'(

Car  Clio Sport 182 FF
Hi everyone i own a clio 182 and i was at mcdonalds drive though were the car started misfireing and the engine managment light started flashing, So the next day I whent back to the garage i bought it from it wasnt under warrenty anymore but they said they would sort it for me.

I collected the car and still it didnt feel right the garage told me they had checked everything and changed the coil pack but couldnt find a fault. I called the AA a week later they looked and said it still isnt running right they said its not showing on there computer but it seems to skip a beat every now and again and its down on power when cold.

So then i took it to a specialist who cleaned the injectors and check everything again they were stumped to they said it could be a valve so run only on shell v-power and put a deep engine cleaner though it, so i did and it seemed to get better but now after a few weeks it seems to be back to how it was.

Has anyone else had this problem? or any ideas what it could be i love my clio and i just want to get it running true

My guess is an injector fault! If you start it and leave it idling for 20 minutes does the light start flashing / misfire appear? Had a couple do it.

That is just a punt like!

The aa said it was showing engine misfire on cylinder 3 but the injectors were removed and cleaned by the garage, the light isn't on now and havent had it come back on yet but I think If I left the car for long enough it would come on,

The garage were wanting to strip the engine down but they said it could cost £1000's is it something that can be fixed or is it from past owners not taking care of it?

First thing I would be doing is swapping the injectors around to see if the fault for misfire moves!
