miss-fire, loss of power

sometimes when i start the car up it has a sudden loss of power when i set off..i usually have to stop and rev the engine to get it bak up to revs..also thr seems to be a bit of a miss-fire at idle. Any idea if these are connectd and what the problem could be? Its a x reg 172.

Normal if you ask me! I take it this completely goes away after say ten minutes?

All of a sudden its like a switch has given you full power?

Completely normal. Plenty of threads about this if you search

P.s. dont rev, its the enginetrying to protect itself iirc!!
