Missfire on turbo

Car  Bmw
I have a turbo 172 ( running about 240 bhp ) this is a track car only but I have a missfire on high revs this will get worse when the engine is hot , first lap it’s not so noticeable.
Has anyone had a problem with the coil pack getting too hot from the turbo being just underneath ?

Or could this be something else ?

Hi plugs are NGK R BCR8ES not sure what gap I’ve set them too.

Grade 8 plugs are usually too much for that power level, but you might be alrite if the compression is high.
Gap is pretty critical, deffo get some feeler gauges, 0.7-0.9mm is a pretty normal range.

Iridium plugs are a sod to gap correctly, the coppers are way easier and let you easily check several gap settings.
