Hi my car had a really bad misfire the other day turned out to be the coilpack gone so the garage replaced that and cured the problem but ive noticed that at around 1000 to 1500 revs the car stops itself like a slight misfire has anyone else had this prob after the coilpack has gone and does the ecu sort itself out?the spark plugs were changed a 1000 miles ago to denso ones so there shouldnt be a problem there.

I had the missfire, engine management light was on too so took it in to the garage...
Turned out it was the cat so i got a new cat (not cheap) then was doing the same thing!!!
Went back to the garage and they told me to do pre-cat & post-cat lamda sensors, changed both of these and now its fine... better mpg too!
