Which was nice.
However she dragged the hose across the bonnet whilst doing so, which has caused some scratches ; (
(I cried a little on the inside)

Have tried T-Cutting out to no avail. Suggestions would be appreciated! (The old man has a polish/buffer machine? Would that help? )

I'll sort some out in a bit. Would like to think they will buff out but need to know what to use on it!

Don't ask! I don't know myself to be honest.
I have requested numerous BJ's. I will work harder on the guilt element ; )

And she reversed into another car at work today and knocked the bumper out a tad. I'm guessing I could just get underneath it and loosen it up so it fits back in? ? uploadfromtaptalk1395685052745.jpguploadfromtaptalk1395685073624.jpg

I should be pissed off I know, but I'm trying to take the whole "f**k it" approach. It's a car, it gets driven every day. s**t happens. At least it gives me an excuse to tinker at the weekend on it, as I'll be fixing the bits she has "cosmetically altered."
When I say I'm going to do something on the car I normally get an earful!
"That f**king car. ......."

Give them a machine polish using a mixture of compounds and polishes and see how you get on mate, can you feel the scratches with your finger nail?

If its too deep it wont polish out, but i dont think it will be unless there was a brick sellotaped to your hose.

Can't feel them with a finger nail, so thats positive. I'll have a look at some compounds at the weekend. Will Halfords do me proud for that kind of gear??

Yes mate, they do a meguiar's compound, im not sure how good it is as i havnt used it personally, but they have a 3 for 2 offer on all cleaning products atm which is a bonus :)

So she made it worse by cleaning scratches into it, reversed into things and broke the bumper, refers to it as "that f**king car" when you want to work on it..

She is trying to trick you into getting of it IMO and buying a sensible people carrier or diesel estate of some kind

Does she drive and if so have you cleaned her car yet with a wood plain?

The thing is this is my car, but it's her daily driver for work (I walk to work!) So the only thing I can do to get her back is something similar to what Alex5 has mentioned above! ; )

Ive trained mine never to place her fingers on the paintwork or glass. Then she closes the door she uses her finger to push the door handle too so the fingermarks are minimised to a single area. Doesnt wear moisturiser and get it over my steering wheel and ive told her if she ever damages my rimz she will have to pay for a brand new one.

She has been conditioned.

I would be furious if she ever did something like that to my car.

She's pushing me now. Decided to park the car in a pterodactyl nest at work today. ....

Can't you just buy her a shitter 106 diesel or something to drive to work in? It would save you countless hours fixing the things that have happened. If it's your car then you make the rules, and if she doesn't like it then she can buy her own.

She isn't that bad to be honest!
Can't be arsed (or afford) to get another car atm. If we did, that 182 would be doing 20/30 miles a week if that! What a waste that would be!

How did you truly feel when this happened?

Were you close to smashing her face in with your fist?

It would have crossed my mind, but, saner heads would prevail.

Anyway I digress.

Do you have a machine polisher? If not go to halfrauds and get some AG Super Resin Polish then apply a sealant. If youre strapped for time use Sonax Brilliant Shine detailer. Wipe on Wipe off.

I think SRP with its filling properties and ability to remove marring and oxidisation would be enough to hide some of the scratches - Think youd be surprised.

She sometimes closes the door with her hand in her sleeve too!

The old man has a machine polisher so will grab that at the weekend.
Overall thoughts when it happened were just "f**k."
It is a car at the end of the day and is used on the daily. s**t happens. She didn't write it off thank f**k! !

You don't know how lucky you are! My Mrs uses my car and it comes back with half a hay bale and horse feed in the boot, muddy dog prints on the back seats, footwells full of mud manure, and half a bush dragged down the side of the car. And that's just on trip out
