Basically I think my head gasket is on it's way out. The other week I noticed a fair bit of mustard sauce looking stuff in my oil filler cap, which i know is a tell tail sign. I cleaned the oil cap out changed the oil and filter and went for a blast. I also checked my water level, and it was slightly (about 1cm) below the max> i have topped it up.
Anyway when I got back I noticed a small amount of that sauce in my cap. so im pretty sure the head gastet is shot.
Gaskit kit is only £41 from Renault and I have read up in haynes on how to change it. I'm determined to do it myself.
Anyone got any tips or advice before I begin and how long do u rekon it would take? Have had experience on cars b4 and have all the tools.
