MK1 16v mirrors

Hello there,

was wondering whether the electric 16v colour coded MK1 wing mirrors could be fitted (and work) on a mk1 1.4 RT with electric mirrors allready? If so, are they available from renault? or am i better scouring ebay and here for second hand ones? Cos mine are the plain black ones and me car is white

Well, you could just find the covers in white?

Or, get some new covers and spray them?

Id try a breakers.. see if any in there have them!

If not, Im not sure how much covers are new.. or if you can get them still (Id imagine you could tho?)

cheers dude, I shall go scour the earth for them. While ur here, what are ur thoughts on colour coding the bumber inserts and strips on a mk1 clio - does it look good (its a white 5 door )

Hmm, Personally, I wouldnt.. but thats me - I think they help to break the look up a bit?

Lunner has colour-coded all of his.. and his is a white, 5 door.. PM him for some pics!

I got new covers for me wing mirrors from Renault - they tend to come in grey so you juest need to sand them down, and spray em. I looked hard for about two months for wing mirror covers but never found any. So if you arent going to go direct to Renault then good luck in finding some - think you may need it!
