It's a lot for just a shell, my Neighbor bought a Mexico complete ( but utterly rotten like this ) for 4k, worth a lot lot more when finished.
Car and Classic has these all the time for 1 - 1.5k.

Id say about right for one that needs a full resto.
If it was a Mexico or somthing then maybe more. Also the panels are hard to get and the ones that are available are a few quid.
