Mk1 pedals... the things wont budge!

Ive fitted some race pedals... well sort of. Ive fitted the clutch and brake pedals but the accelerator is all plastic and looks like it doesnt come off. How can i get it of and get mine on???

Its not a pedal as such, it clips onto a bar type thing on the accelerator.

You have to put the new pedal on top.....

isnt that illegal??? and wont it stick out over the other pedals? if this is the way then ill just do it what the hell but dont wana fail my MOT cosa it

depends. Most replacement pedals are for off-road/show use only.. and will fail. There are some nice silver ones in Demon Tweeks tho, £19.99 (They also come in Blue and Red I think..) and they are road legal.

No..

Well, I dunno - I painted mine in Satin Blue to match the car (was originally Silver, Brushed Alloy Colour).

But those pedals do look nice in the pics..

Just normal spray paint - could be for metal/plastic.. dunno, was from B&Q.. heh.

No primer or anything tho..
