mk1 rsi tuning help

  93 rsi
right guys need some help,

got a 93 rsi that has the spec below,

piper x viper
full stainless decat exhaust,
magnacor leads,
hill power port and polish
hill power reprofiled cam,

now without swaping the engine, any idea on a way of getting more power from it, thinking of the 2.0 8v bottom end, and a bit of engine balancing and lightening, any ideas???

also seen a video of a turbo'd rsi, a french motor, anyone else seen this or have any info on it, as it wasn't the volvo lump,

lol, youve said you dont want to swap the engine but then said you want the 2.0 8v bottom end, that is an engine swap, also the bottom end wont go straight on your need the head as well. put a valver engine init mate.

No thats wrong

The 2.0 8v bottom end WILL go stright on, how ever teh gians are minimal ie 5bhp on a std inlet.

I was gonna go down the route you've gone down and then decided it wasn't worth it fore the gains, so got a hybrid.

Also get you ass up to chipwizards in yorks and get a remap, that will make a world of difference.

As for bottom end get over to williamsclio and speak to a guy called stan, he will ballance your crank and flywheel pretty cheap

you will get larger gains off a new cam rather than a reprofiled one, tehre is a limit to what can be done to reprofile a cam
