Mk1 V6 - number 0001

i remember seeing this very car at the motor show many many years ago (1999)... was in a stainless steel cage surround. Then 1 year later.... was open for all to see

Yes, Williams 0001 was used by Performance Car in a review alongside the 197 Cup.

I prefer to see a car like that driven and then written about rather than sat around gathering dust.
 
Ive actually driven the original clio V6 that was built and designed by Tom Walkinshaw racing - its a scruffy looking black clio 1.6 16v that was slowly developed by TWR and had a massive documented file on the start to finish build of the car. It looks like a V6 now but started life as a 1.6 16v 1998 clio 3dr h/b

I've seen pics of that car, I think the person who bought all of the TWR's stock had it.
