Mk1 by far imho, and I drive a phase 1 172

Other shapes look too soft, bubble like.

All this is excluding the V6 of course which is leagues above all of them (either shape vee will do me thanks).

Thats been done already by someone (French i think).
Looks wierd still a stunning achievment.
I like all three there all different.
The Mk3 is possibly the best for my all round needs though. Even if it does miss the uniqness of the Mk1 and stonger classic lines the Mk2 is more rear end touchy (depend on spec though). Its just a good bigish car which contains the same sort of charecter handling wise. Its not a Mk1 though handling wise its all grown up just not enough to to turn me away its better for 99% of my driving.

as standard cars mk 2 ph 2 but as modded mk 1 looks better

mk2 ph1 for me, although they're boring looking unless they're colour coded.

Then it'd have to be the ph2 172 for me.
