MK2 non-sport bonnet sizes 3dr vs 5dr dent repair

  Renault Clio MK2 1.2
Anybody know if MK2 non-sport's bonnet sizes differ for 3dr and 5dr?

I have a 5dr with a nasty dent in the bonnet, seen a few 3dr bonnets on eBay, would they fit?

Also, would you get a whole new new bonnet or try and pull it out yourself? It's right across the seam which makes it a b****** to try and get out, have tried using plungers and got some out but can't get any more out.

Would this not match up with my car then?

It's the same paint code and year, only difference is this is from a dynamique and mine is an expression. My car has been garaged for 10 years of its life, just ticked over to 30k so would it be majorly different in colour?

If its the same paint code it would be the same colour surely? Worth a punt, can always spray it if its majorly different

Best bet and cheapest Sean is to get a replacement bonnet in the same paint code as above. If that one goes then just wait as it will save you over £100 if you don't have to paint it.

took over 6 months to find one for one of our cars at the right price. Worth the wait though

well i've been quoted £110 delivered for a bonnet from a breaker on eBay so I think I'm going to go for that one after I've done my insurance, tax and MOT in the next week  Also, my stepbrother is a mechanic so he knows a lot of people in the trade so repainting it shouldn't cost that much.....*fingers crossed*
