Its been done on a mk1 clio , i assume you would need to have some plastiwelding done at the top to remove the diamond other than that its probably quite easy - pointless as the ph1 looks more aggressive IMHO
Yeah my bumper now is of prima's 172 front bumper replica but its damaged as someone reversed into me, i have now got a set of 172 front bumpers and wings, i need the sideskirts now. but i was thinking as i need all that lot sprayed, how hard is it to have all the ph2 stuff
If your handy with a spanner id imagine you could do it all bar the welding on the front panel and slam panel not hard work IMHO but is it worth it ???
yeah got a picture, here its is, this is after i had put the light back into place and had a little fiddle with the bumper then remembered to take a pic:
ooo thats proper harsh mate! can see why you would want to put a ph2 on, gonna cost a bit to find another 172 front and get it sprayed. a ph2 front went on ebay for £10 just down the road from me the other day.
Never found out who done it, i have got myself 2 172 front bumpers and a set of wings but they need painting, so i was just looking into how much it would cost to get the ph2 onto mine
Don't forget, you'll need the ph2 bonnet too. Prima Racing converted a ph1 172 into a ph2 to fit their super 1600 kit, should be too hard, just a case of swapping over the parts and rewiring the fogs and lights.
