Clio MK2 PH1 common issues

Hello, I am set to buy a MK2 PH1 1.6 RSI and I would like to know what are the common issues with them.

Any reason you want to go for an RSI over and 172? Just curious.

I assume they will have similar electrical gremlins like most Clios, e.g. potential UCH (body control module) issues, crank position sensors failing, leaky sunroofs etc etc. But mainly it’s just regular mechanical issues with a car of this age, plus rust. There’s plenty of info on here.

Well, I am getting the car for my first and when looking at it the insurance for an RSI is reasonable even without a black box but a 172 is well too expensive.
