MG ZR 1.8
So.
I brought my clio 4 weeks ago and i have already got started on it..
Firstly we went to pick up the car from reading and then drove straight to west midlands to buy myself a ktec stealth exhaust which was fitted the next day..
I do like to sound alot, but i want to de cat it as it isnt quite loud enough! Only reason its not been done is because i have to MOT it soon.
Firstly, This is how it stood a few days after i brought it,
Next step was to fit marks cup springs, It stands a lot better now, much better handling and it also sits properly. This is how it sits now with these springs on it.
I then went on to spraying the dimonds, dust caps, dash strips & caps that cover the bolts on the windscreen wipers. I wont bore you with 'how to's' because i know that you all know how to do it!
Then we went onto giving the car its first proper clean, using the clay bar and giving it a wax.. the paint work came up amazingly, very nice!
Next, (best bit) referbing the alloys,
Although as i was putting the car on the drive i swiped my mums car, luckily it was only it was only some lacqer of my car that was on my mums plus a small dent, so its not v noticable..mine looks like this now,
Any suggestions on the best way to do this without spending loads of money!
as everyone knows how to do it same as the badge spraying i wont bore, but we sanded them all down and got rid of all the break dust!, used filler to sort out the kerbing as best as we could not being proffesionals..
coat of primer
Unfortunatly i forgot to take pictures as i was just wanting to get it done! but this is how my car is sitting now!
:approve:
Future plans;
Eibach Sportlines
Colour coding
Sport grill
Paint the calipers
There is more to do...but i cant think right now!
Thanks for reading guys.
Sorry for the amount of writing...
