Mk2 Ph2 Rear lights

Bought these off ebay and replaced my boring mk2 ph1 rear lights.

I know others have done this also and I was wondering if their FOG LIGHT on the left hand side works or not?

Mine doesn't work and I can't remember if the mk2 ph1 rear lights even have a fog light on the left hand side as when I check the wiring (Pink wire to pin 4) I am not even getting a voltage unlike the one on the right where I am getting just short of 12v.

So does the mk2 ph2 left rear fog not work on the mk2 ph1 or have I got a problem?

That's the guide I used to fit them mate.....everything is fitted perfect and works perfect except the left fog. Just wanted to know the following:

1) Does the mk2 ph1 have a left fog light (I can't remember if mine did)
2) Anybody else who has fitted these, does there left fog light work?

ph1 only had a fog light on the right...mine does anyway unless the bulb has blown

theres only one fog you can wire it for both to work but to much effort lol

I found the same when I fitted mine, I like things to be symetrical I just have the bulb in (even though it does nothing) I couldn't be fussed to wire it up.

Where is the guide matey?

TBH I would just make a junction point on the right hand cable and feed a supply from there to the left cable underneath the boot flooring...I just can't be bothered to do it either as I rarely use my fogs anyhow
