mk2 phase 2 gas discharge headlights

anyone know whats involved in fitting gas discharge headlights to a phase 2 with normal headlights?

Depends really you can get the xenon conversion kits for about £150 but i've heard the ballasts have a habit of catching fire which sort of put me off.
Other option is finding a set of renault lights which are plug and play, looking at £400+ though. And you've gotta find some, not sure what they cost from renault.
