Go for the fk ones, with 35mm it's not that much difference to standard. Here's a comparison picture of mine when it was standard

Where could I find the correct set of springs? I have looked online its confusing as it says the gt from 05-09 use these and gt from 10- present use these. The gt was only made between 09-10 so how does that work? :s
Heres a link to mine, but mine are 40mm all round I think. But that's the link to the ones I bought might of changed it to 35-40mm

[/QUOTE]Hello Communtiy,
my name is Jens, i'm 20 years old and from germany. My English is not so good, but i want to show your some pics from my Clio MK3 GT.
The GT is lowered with a H&R Coilover Suspension 70/65mm ( no reserve to go lowered, completly down :-( ). Wheels are originial, rear axle with 40mm spacers, 20mm per side. Now some Pics.
Suspension original:
Go lowerd with 45mm H&R Springs: H&R Art.Nr. 29140-3
And at least with H&R Coilover Suspension Art.Nr. 29139-1, completly down
Here some pics from refueling with Coilover and series wheels. Rear Axle with 40mm Spacers, 20mm per side
I hope you're interested
Greetings from germany
Cheers!! That's really helpful!! Does he say the Part number I would need below the first picture? Seeing it on coilovers is trumpeting me lol but I have to resist!! It being lowered by 40 doesn't look too bad at all! I was thinking 30 might go an extra 10 now haha
Thanks i did see that but just wanted to confirm, i had a look on his thread too. How much did you lower yours by when you had coilovers. did it affect anything like handling?
hey hope this helps, these were how my H&R were advertised..
RENAULT CLIO 1.6 16V 05-09 H&R 291402 Lowering Springs Kit (45mm)

Yeah it was lowered on eibach pro's not a massive difference but its noticeable and the ride improved, no they are both diesel, we went for the more economical approach before we moved to the RS's
Cheers mate, any questions just drop me a pm
I have changed the interior lights now half way through plasti dipping the badges excuse the flash in the first picture

The Renault badges just pop off, to do the front i got an old credit card and a small flat head screw driver, and you just leaver it off, same with the rear.Do the badges have clips. Id like to remove mine
Not creak thanks god lol. Im going to be getting spacers next month, thinking 25 on the rear maybe 15/20 mm on the front. But befroe i order i need to put the 17's on again to find out how much wider they are. I think the tyres are 215's but not 100%Glad i could be of some use. Get it setup properly after you're happy with its stance. With standard wheels I ran 20mm spacers all round and I wished id of gone with 25mm. But I had negative camber at the front (had the tripple c bolts - TC 121) and was low'd 70mm. Not sure how It would look when you've dropped it 40mm.
Car looks nice mate I miss my GT. Does your clutch pedal creak?
