mk3 clattering noise - especially when reversing slowly from drive

and driving slowly for e.g doing a 3 point turn, a sort of clattering noise coming from the back, alot more when reversing though. I always just put it down to something in the boot moving, but ive emptied my boot, took out the tyre change kit and everything, and im still hearing it, minor but annoying me lol. I only started noticing it after my car was lowered I don't know if this is a co-incidence or related in anyway... any help appreciated.

Anyone? Could it be anthing to do with the new springs fitted? as it's more noticable going over bumps and up and down kerbs...

certainly with my car lowered i get more rumbles than before....have a look under the car especially the spare to see if that might be loose and moving. dont go to renault though my local garage basically said f**k off!! (in more polite terms obv!)

I removed the spare wheel a while ago to reduce weight...

I've just had my car up on the ramp and everything seems to be fine underneath... So i'm not really worried now but it's still a bit annoying knowing something in the rear of my car is rattling...

When I lowered mine I get like a popping noise coming from the struts but this sounds completely different if its coming from the rear. Are you sure the rear springs are pertched properly? It could also be something like a heatsheild.
