Mk3 Clio - Ice Racing Car

Just watching highlights of the Andros Trophy ice race on Motors TV.

Good pics but im not won over by the design atall. Definitely a step backwards for renault imo

As suspected i'm growing to like the MK3, though I still feel its a victim of lazy design, borrowing to much from other manufacturers.

Wonder what engine they're running?

they all run stupid turbos in spaceframe chassis, with 600 odd bhp etc etc.........basically nothing is based on the real car lol.

Think they look quite good imo. Renault needed to put some kind of arches like tht on the road going RS model MK3.

That was my 1st impression as well.... looks so much like a Pug now... but I have to admit I always liked the Rally Pug 206, but sadly I think the 206 looks better...

looks ace if you ask me. not sure what sort of engine/suspension setup they are running though. Just watching a bit of it now, i'll be very suprised if its a 197 engine!
