I've heard that, due to the mechanism, these are a b**ch to de wiper. I've not looked into it myself though

Ive looked and tugged at the wiper but i just dont know where to start.

You need to drill through the rivet to get it out. The its a case of detaching the mechanism and plugging the hole with a grommit

You have to take the boot lining out, theres a few torx screws in there, unbolt the wiper arm and then pull if off, that can be a bit tricky because its on a taper but it will come out eventually, then the motor is riveted on so you have to drill the rivets out, or i suppose you could probably snap it of if your a bit of a bodgineer lol, then disconnect the wire and put a grommit in the hole, nice and simple, took me about 5 minutes to do.
