MK3 Head Unit Removal

I tried to remove my head unit by using removal keys and it started to come out. After I pulled it out three inches or so it wouldn't come out any more. It felt like something was restricting it from the back and I was too scared to pull it hard! I have seen videos of people pulling it out all the way with no problems. Am I missing something?

Should come straight out, changed mine last week, needed a 'jiggle' but came out. Just be a connector/aerial wire jammed at the back..

The last time I mucked about with my head unit and everything was still on I popped a fuse. Might be worth disconnecting your battery if you know your radio code.
Just sayin'

It should just pull out if you pull it hard enough.

As said above though, it looks like your ignition is on seeing as your AC is on, I would take your keys out of the ignition before fiddling with you head unit

I turned it on after I gave up, just to see if it still worked. Haha!
