BMC CDA & removal of Centre silence is made of win ! what i did

Go to K-tec, they claim a 25BHP & 35 ft/lb increase with a panel filter and remap. DO IT.

non turbo petrol
manifold back exhaust with 200cell cat
bmc cda with 45 degree hose and caf to front grill (battery moved to wheel well in boot)
matched inlets
re-map

done.......

or if its a tce engine
down pipe back exhaust
bmc cda
bigger injectors
fmic
remap

done....


or if its a dci
down pipe back exhaust
panel filter
fmic
remap

done......



i would put my money into buying a better model though tbh

I will try and get an outside one for you as with the centre silencer gone it sounds completely different on the outside!

Was that just a straight pipe replacing the center silencer then? Is the backbox standard also?

Silencer removed and its a 1.6 with an RS Tuner remap.

Thing is so silent compared to the megane lol !!

I would recommend it!

I believe it is just a straight pipe from what I can see but BioHzrd would have to confirm.

It's only a 1.6 like yours!

The only think to remember is he had a remap done so not sure how much that effects noise and speed!

I do know that RS tuning have a newer map available.

Map was done by Henk via his RSTuner box a while ago was the first K4M to be done so he may have tweaked it.

Silencer was chopped out and a straight pipe was welding in its place.

Na your alright i prefer 265hp over 120hp :rasp:

Never had it RR'd after as well it didnt fit on the rollers without the subframe grinding away on them ! Felt alot better but mind you placebo effect springs to mind !

Cost me nothing for the map only had to buy the RS Tuner from Henk and got the map free as it was the first 1.6 K4M he'd done.
