mk3 problem

i've got a 1.2 mk3 clio extreme, has anybody else had trouble with taking off?? most times when i start the car and take off there is hardly any power just seems like when you accelerate it dips any ideas??

The mk3 is a heavy car for the little 1.2 engines, this will most likely be the problem

Oryt cheers any ideas how to get a ill bit more out of it I'm not expecting anything major I no its only a 1.2 lol

Mines not started straight away a few times but ive never had a lack of power.

As said before its a heavy car 240kg heavier than the old version i beleive. Try to lighten it if you can. Maybe a air filter and exhaust?? two fairly cheap ways to improve power a LITTLE.
