3000 miles a YEAR? I hope it had some good miles on it before you bought it or the engine wont ever be freed up lol

Looking at these figures I feel a HUGE discount coming when my renewal comes in...........because

Ill be 21

60% theyll have to accept

And Ill have a history with the company

Id say about a grand off eh:eek:;)

Btw, how do insurance companies know how many miles you do a year?

My First year was with Admiral, Mark you div. I paid £1,600 with 1 years no claims.

When it came for renewal they took it down to £1,250. I then went onto Elephant and told them that my lowest quote was this figure along with my 2 years no claims and they said we can insure you for £1,100. Happy days......

heres my quote for MKII V6 with renault insurance

£960 a year, 7 years NCB, fully comp, 12k a year. 24 years old, but was told by most inurance companies you have to be over 25. and £300 excess.

as above how do they know how many miles u do a year, with admiral it brings ur quote down quite a bit by sayin ur doing say 5k a year instead of 10k

ive just got insured with them, havent asked for what mileage im on or anything??

Some insurance companies will ask for your mileage at renewal, we had a problem when one of the kit cars snapped its speedo cable where my mate accidently put less miles on the form on renewal time to what he said the last due to a guess at what miles he should have done!

yea hic asked for my mileage at start of policy before, but i could have just made it up

admiral havent asked and theres no way 4 them 2 find out unless they want an mot from a year before and a year after and its a bit doubtful that would happen, + mot certs get lost sometimes ;-)

also with admiral as im on third party fire and theft it didnt change the quote however much the car price was stated at, first said 1k but then thought that the hell, 2k will do as no change in policy price lol

Valuation on a policy is only an estimate, you wont actually get that in a claim, youll still get market value.
