Moddified parts

A mate of mine has got a phase 1 clio 172 and he is selling it so all the moddified parts are coming off.He has got got a green open induction kit, some apex -40mm lowering springs (6 months old) and a ecotec thingy.

He has said i can i have the springs for £60 notes, the ecotec for £30 and i not sure what he said for the filter. Can anyone gives me some honest opinions on all the things-good or not,how much to pay ,will they fit, etc.

My car is a phase 2 172 btw.

Cheers

The springs are a good deal but avoid the ecotec and filter. The ecotec has been proven to do nothing and an open I/k will actually lose power.

So the springs will fit my car ok then? Are they going to work well with the standard dampers?I have seen his car and it looks very low (its only on 15s though) this would kill the dampers too quickly?

Also while im here next tyre change im looking at swaping to 205/45/16s or even 205/40/16s (if goodyear do gsd3s in that size and arent too much) would i have tyre arch issues or would there be plenty of roon?

Cheers

Gav.
