Modding the back end of a clio

  Arctic 182
Ideas? Suggestions? De-wiper? De-badge? Tint? Cup Spoiler? Anything you can do subtle to the lights? Thoughts and pics of your own please :)

I took the rear wiper off mine , looks good but when weathers bad you sometimes wish you had it still...

but yeah just update sport badge , definitely the cup spoiler , look into FK rear lights...just try and keep it clean and simple without going over the top

Other than de-badging or de-wipering or putting new style 'Renault Sport' badges on it, wrapping/spraying the rear diamond,
there isn't that much you can do to the boot.

Unless you fit a Campus tailgate and relocate the number plate.

You could try the old 197/200 diffuser on it, I bet it would be a right pita though.

That's what I wanted and I defo want the cup spoiler. Which one is the new badge? Any pics? There's a couple on ebay but I don't know what I'm looking for. What sort of price are we talking?

I got the 197 Renault sport badge which tidies it up

What colour is your car? I've put some red rim tape on the edge of my cup spoiler, could do that but a different colour perhaps?

Think I might have to change to the new style badge, is that the cheapest price for them? Not being stingy but that's a tad pricey for a badge.

with the diffuser you need to cut the bumper (which is a pitta) find a way to attach it to the bumper (which is a pitta) then if you have a wheel well you have to cut that out unless you want to do as above and have it sitting lower and fill in the gap between the bottom of the bumper and the bottom of the diffuser.

and cut more holes for your exhaust...

so youl have to cut the holes for the exhaust (unless you get a new exhaust to go out to the 197 position.

cut the bumper which is still a pitta
attach it to the bumper which is still a pitta
attach it somewhere under the car
and if your not going as high as it should be find bits of plastic like the one in the picture above to fill in the gap

a badge is far easier lol

edit: and looking closer at that picture it hasnt been attached to the bumper uts just sitting behind it. which looks pants!

i'd get it done by a body panel shop so it would be done properly and have the old wholes covered and new wholes done for 182 exhaust then finished in gloss black

Mine was de-wipered when I bought it but I wouldn't bother tbh. It is annoying in the rain.

Those newer Renault Sport badges look much better, and no holes to hide! Will definitely do this at some point
