the alloys are not standard on my car but , they are normal renault alloys so they look standard , is it best to phone up and tell them about the bodywork mods im with liverpool vic
well when i asked if the std alloys no extra charge if they ren alloys from other model or spec little increase and if aftermarket alloys then little bit more of an increase, i aint declared mine and have no intention of doing so
From what I can gather from info on the forums in the past, Liverpool Victoria are very accomodating for mods, wont push up your premium too much (if at all), and will cover like for like (meaning theyll replace the new parts should the worst happen).
When I put my 17"s on my old 1.2, I had to pay a £30 supplement. Exhausts, bodywork, tints, and things like that will add more normally. They certainly do with Renault.
Mine is the old Renault (Privilege) insurance and they told me my tints, lowering, side skirts (when I get them), lexus lights will make no difference to my premium. But my alloys would be another £40 per year covering up to £1000 of alloys.
