Money saver

I HAVE A VALVER KITTED AT THE MO..........

as I need to save money would I be wise in either selling my car and .........

getting a more standard (less mods to like after)

getting a renault 5 turbo (cheaper tax etc but still quick)

or getting a new car with free insurance, warrenty etc.....???

or just buying a small car to get to and from work...... maybe a diesel??

buying a small car is good as its cheaper but if something goes worng with it ur stuffed the good thing about a new car is that you wont have problems and also you have 1 years free insurance and you have a warrranty

Getting ANOTHER car means you will not be able to transfer your no claims, as your no claims can only be associated with one policy. You will be rated as a newbie.

Getting another less/un modified one gives you a blank canvas, you will be unable to refrain from modding it.

Getting a NEW car with free insurance....tempting. Push them on the interest rate they offer you....and GET IT DOWN. (Remember they wanna sell you a car). Though it might be cheaper to buy one 6months old and insure it yourself.

Selling up and getting a r5gtt.....good choice, but you need to work out how much you would REALLY save, and where (insurance might not change much).

Cousin bought a K reg Micra (bubble one) for £70 (170,000 miles) and its perfect believe it or not. Just runs and runs and runs. Original engine and gearbox etc.

Hasnt even been serviced like it should have been all its life.

Bargain!

FEK IT! Im gonna keep the car (so i dont lose my no claims for this year), take it back standard..ish and sell the parts I dont need. Then use the misses car to save money on petrol!

I love my car and decided I cant get rid of it.................... ITS TOOOO MUCH FUN

:D
