Just read in the supermarket 172 post about a dealer saying that import cars are less reliable hehehe. When I picked my 172 up the handover muppet told us that hed had one as a company car earlier in the year and written it off (funny cos the staff car park was full of low spec mondeos etc) and that if you leave the ESP on it doubles your fuel consumption! (it definately doesnt btw!!!)

i went to nissan for some research work and a technician who builds them told me there was no difference between a GTI and normal nissan, just the badge at the back! What a ARS*HOLE.

Same showroom different sales bloke......

Was asked by a friend to go a look at a car for her at the local Renault dealer, shed been down the previous day and seen a 1.4 she liked the look of, but knowing nothing about cars decided to seek help.

The salesman had told her the cars was owned by a 29yr old bloke who was married with two kids and brought a bigger car for the family. She was very keen as it looked like the perfect story. Well to cut it short I took one look at the car and the personal plate on it and turn to the salesman and said isnt that XXXXXs old car? To which he replied yes, so I asked isnt he 20 and single?

Another salesman on the back foot squirming! Why do they try this stuff?

Laughed for another week after than one!
