MOT fail?

If I fit drill through the sills to fit my side skirts will my car fail the MOT?

I've heard of other people bolting them on but just wanted to check

Nope thats how Renault attach them anway.
The only issue you may have if you start getting serious rust but treat it and properly when you drill the holes and you'll be fine.
