I used Qwikifit for an MOT on the saxo, they failed it on the following:

1. Tyres - despite two of them being new
2. Exhaust - despite it being 6 months old, & stainless
3. Front brake pads, again, despite them being 3 months old, & uprated.

Strangely, they sell all of those items.

Took it elsewhere & it passed 1st time.

Says alot really.

Afraid to say I worked there once and I was told I had to make up faults that weren't there or I would be sacked. Made me so ill doing it I left

going off at a tangent slightly I rang yesterday to book in my grand scenic for its first 18000 mile service. was quoted 311 quid! was told it would need an engine flush and fuel additives. no wonder dealers all called stealers now.
no wonder it has 3 years warranty. its so they can rip you off longer.
I always get three quotes for anything. except plumbing cos I am a plumber.lol

£700 for a full exhaust system? are you on drugs?!

You could get a fully custom build and or after market system for less LOL

NEVER EVER EVER go to kwik fit, did you not see watchdog?

This

Don't need to see Watchdog to know never go to Kwik Fit!!! P**s in your engine, flush some dosh down the crapper and at least that way you've saved yourself a journey.

and this

more fool you for actually paying £700 without checking other garages first! kwikfit are shockingly bad!

and this

Why anyone would go to quikfit is beyond me.

and this says WAKE UP!!!!! It's a shame that the lesson was so expensive.

They were indeed correct as 2 weeks later the N/S suspension arm was worn completely and needed replacing, along with the tyres.
